Bertha "Betty" Licwinko, 84 of Kimberton, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Golden Living Center in Phoenixville.
Wife of the late Joseph W. "Bill" Licwinko.
Born in Upper Merion on January 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Bertha (Brennan) and Clarence Schaffer.
She has been living at Atria Woodbridge Place in Kimberton, formerly of Harleysville and West Conshohocken.
She was a member of St. Gertrude RC Church, Corpus Christie RC Church and St. Basile's RC Church.
She was a graduate of Upper Merion High School where she was a majorette.
Betty worked as a bookkeeper most of her life, and she was a talented artist. She volunteered to work on West Conshohocken Centennial Committee.
Bettey enjoyed bowling, art and crafts.
Betty is survived by a sister-in-law, Joan Schaffer of Eagleville and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 13 at 10 a.m. from St. Gertrude RC Church, Bullock and Merion Avenue, West Conshohocken with Msgr. Gerard Measure officiating.
Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 9:50 at the church.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
