Dominga (Garcia) Santiago of West Norriton, age 82, died on Friday, March 5, 2010 at Keystone House in Wyndmoor.
She was a retired machinist with Wessel Hardware of Philadelphia.
Dominga was Born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico on Nov. 1, 1927 to the late Alfredo Garcia and Zenovia (Figueroa). She was the beloved wife of the late Juan R. Santiago.
Dominga has been living with her daughter in West Norriton for the last seven years, formerly of Puerto Rico where she has been living since she retired, formerly of Philadelphia and New York.
She is survived by her four daughters Ann Garcia of West Norriton, Luz Marin of Philadelphia, Lydia E. Ramos of Eagleville and Evelyn Pacheco of Ridgewood, NY; three sons Wifredo Santiago of Oklahoma, Orlando Santiago and John Santiago of Philadelphia.
Also survived by four brothers Alejandro Garcia and Jaime Garcia, both of Puerto Rico, Tony Garcia and Pedro Garcia, both of York; and a sister Anita Rosiaro of Philadelphia.
Dominga is also survived by her beloved eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at 10 a.m. from the Visitation B.V.M. RC Church, 196 North Trooper Rd. Norristown.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Moore & Snear Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton.
Interment will be in St. Patrick�s Cemetery in East Norriton.
