Andrew Hilt, Jr., 89 of Norristown, died Thursday, February 18, 2010 in Montgomery Hospital of Norristown.

Husband of the late Ruth E. (Ottesman) Hilt.

He was born in Whitehall, PA on October 3, 1920, son of the late Julia (Noski) and Andrew Hilt, Sr.

Andy lived in Norristown for over 20 years, formerly of West Conshohocken.
He was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church of Conshohocken.
He worked as an electrician for Portland Cement Company.
Andrew served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 1173 Guard Squadron and was a member of American Legion of Norristown.
He enjoyed going to yard sales and doing magic tricks, as well as fishing and hunting.
He also attended S.A.A.C. on George Street in Norristown.

He is survived by a child that he and his wife raised, Nancy Fiscaletti of New York; brothers, William Hilf of Pocono Lake and James (Peggy) Hilt of Swedeland; sister, Emma J. Cioffo of Venice, FL; many nieces, nephews, as well as his companion Ruth Fryer.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, George and Wilhem Hilt; and a sister, Julia Hilt.

His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 24 at 10 a.m. from the Moore & Snear Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken with Rev. Stephen W. Price, pastor of Calvary Episcopal Church, officiating.

Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Calvary Episcopal Church, Fayette Street at East 4th Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
