Sally (Wertz) McGann, age 93, of Royersford, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at Parkhouse at Providence Point in Royersford. Wife of the late Joseph Mcgann.

She was born in Conshohocken on Nov. 22, 1918, daughter of the late Mary Ellen (Burton) and John Wertz.

Sally lived at Parkhouse at Providence Point for the last year, formerly of Conshohocken where she lived most of her life.

She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken.

She worked with Hamilton Paper Company, Archibald Allen and Centennial Printing.

She was an avid reader who was best known for being a terrific caregiver.

She is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Kay) Allerton of Bridgeport and Joseph (Veronica) McGann of Perkiomenville; ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Harry, William and Joseph; five sisters, Anna Swalla, Catherine Pearce, Jean Cooper, Madge Galette and Helen Traill.

Her funeral Mass will be held Monday, Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Matthew's RC Church, Third and Fayette Sts., Conshohocken with Fr. James W. Donlon officiating.

Friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken.
